Drawing 02 - Service Detail - Six Units - Bench Tested

HYXVEK LLC delivers computer integrated systems design from a West Valley workshop. The six service lines below are the lit units of the test rack, each proven on real hardware before it reaches a client floor. The sections that follow describe what each unit contains, how it is delivered and where it fits in a production environment.

HYXVEK LLC schedules a limited number of integration engagements each quarter so every rack unit receives the bench time it deserves.

The Six Lit Units

Detailed service descriptions

UNIT N1

Control Systems Integration

Control Systems Integration is the spine of every HYXVEK LLC engagement. The work begins with a full survey of existing controllers, drives, safety circuits and operator interfaces, followed by a logic map that records how the plant actually behaves rather than how the original drawings claim it behaves. From that map the team designs a unified control architecture that eliminates duplicated logic, resolves conflicting interlocks and gives operators a single coherent view of the process.

Integration work covers PLC and DCS programming, SCADA configuration, alarm rationalisation and historian connection. Where a plant runs multiple vendor platforms, the team builds a translation layer that lets them share state cleanly instead of through fragile point-to-point wiring. Every change is tested against a simulated load before it touches production.

  • PLC, DCS and SCADA programming and commissioning.
  • Alarm rationalisation and operator interface redesign.
  • Interlock verification and safety circuit documentation.
  • Multi-vendor protocol translation and data mapping.
UNIT N2

Edge Compute Deployment

Edge Compute Deployment places hardened compute nodes close to the machines that generate the data. Instead of shipping every raw signal to a distant data centre, HYXVEK LLC installs compact industrial computers on the floor, loads them with local analytics and lets them act on data in milliseconds. This reduces latency, shrinks bandwidth bills and keeps critical decisions running even when the wide area link drops.

The team selects enclosures rated for the real environment, whether that means washdown, vibration, dust or high ambient heat. Nodes are provisioned with remote management, secure boot and staged software updates, so a fleet of edge devices can be maintained without sending a technician to every cabinet. Local storage buffers data during outages and replays it once connectivity returns.

  • Industrial edge node specification and installation.
  • Local analytics, buffering and store-and-forward design.
  • Remote fleet management and secure update pipelines.
  • Environmental hardening for harsh production areas.
UNIT N3

Industrial Data Networks

Industrial Data Networks carry the traffic that the control spine depends on. HYXVEK LLC designs segmented Ethernet architectures with managed switching, redundant paths and clear boundaries between control, supervisory and business traffic. Fieldbus segments are planned for deterministic timing so a burst of camera or historian data can never starve a controller of its cycle time.

Every segment is documented down to the port, with address plans, VLAN assignments and cable schedules that a new technician can follow. The team also handles wireless coverage where cable is impractical, using industrial access points with controlled roaming so mobile equipment and tablets hold a stable connection across the floor.

  • Segmented managed Ethernet and VLAN design.
  • Deterministic fieldbus and industrial protocol planning.
  • Redundant ring and failover path configuration.
  • Industrial wireless coverage and roaming validation.
UNIT N4

Machine Monitoring Pipelines

Machine Monitoring Pipelines turn raw machine signals into evidence the maintenance team can act on. HYXVEK LLC instruments vibration, temperature, current, pressure and cycle counters, then builds a pipeline that cleans, timestamps and streams that data into historians and dashboards. The pipeline is designed to keep flowing through network hiccups, using local buffers and replay logic so no shift of evidence is ever lost.

Dashboards are shaped around the decisions operators and maintenance planners actually make, not around vanity metrics. Thresholds, trend views and alert routing are tuned with the people who respond to them, which keeps the alarm load meaningful and prevents notification fatigue after the first month.

  • Sensor selection, mounting and signal conditioning.
  • Buffered acquisition and historian integration.
  • Condition dashboards and trend analysis views.
  • Alert routing and threshold tuning with operators.
UNIT N5

Systems Modernization

Systems Modernization retires brittle legacy layers without sacrificing uptime. Many plants run on relay panels, discontinued controllers and undocumented logic that works only because one experienced technician remembers its quirks. HYXVEK LLC migrates these systems in staged cutovers, running new logic in parallel with the old until the evidence supports a clean switch.

The migration preserves the behaviour that matters, such as proven safety sequences and operator muscle memory, while replacing the parts that cost money through downtime, spare scarcity and unmaintainable code. Each stage ends with a rollback plan, so a cutover that reveals an unexpected issue can revert safely within the same window.

  • Legacy controller and relay panel migration.
  • Staged parallel-run cutover planning.
  • Behaviour preservation for proven sequences.
  • Rollback planning and spares rationalisation.
UNIT N6

Reliability Engineering

Reliability Engineering turns reactive firefighting into a scheduled program. HYXVEK LLC traces failure modes through maintenance records and monitored data, ranks them by real cost and builds a plan that attacks the expensive ones first. Spares are rationalised so the storeroom holds the parts that matter and stops hoarding the ones that do not.

Maintenance windows are reshaped around evidence rather than habit, and the program is measured with clear indicators so progress is visible to the whole team. Over time the plant moves from emergency repairs to planned interventions, which lowers cost, stabilises output and gives the operating team back its nights and weekends.

  • Failure mode analysis and criticality ranking.
  • Spares rationalisation and storeroom review.
  • Preventive and predictive program design.
  • Reliability indicators and reporting cadence.

The Delivery Process

From pattern review to proven handover

STEP 01

Pattern Review

A working session with the operating and maintenance teams to record the load, the fault history and the outcome the plant needs. The output is a drawing-level scope, not a sales proposal.

STEP 02

Bench Build

Logic, networks and edge nodes are assembled and tested off line in the West Valley workshop. Representative hardware is wired and driven with a simulated load until the pattern holds.

STEP 03

Staged Cutover

Live changes are scheduled around production calendars. Where a line cannot stop, new logic runs in shadow mode beside the old until the evidence supports the switch, with a rollback plan always ready.

STEP 04

Commission and Stabilise

After the switch, HYXVEK LLC stays engaged through a defined stabilisation window, tuning alarms, resolving early issues and training the operating team before final handover.

STEP 05

Document and Hand Over

The project closes with network topology, logic notes, tag dictionaries, calibration records and a maintenance playbook written in plain language for the people who run the plant.

STEP 06

Reliability Feedback

Monitored data and failure records feed back into the next pattern review, so each engagement leaves the plant better instrumented and better understood than the one before it.

Where These Units Fit Together

A single architecture, six entry points

Most clients enter through one unit and grow into the rest. A plant may ask for Control Systems Integration after a controller failure, then discover that Machine Monitoring Pipelines would have predicted the failure months earlier. Another may begin with Systems Modernization and add Industrial Data Networks once the old cabling proves to be the real constraint. HYXVEK LLC designs each unit so it strengthens the others rather than creating another silo.

The shared architecture means data collected for reliability can also feed the operator dashboard, and the network built for monitoring can also carry the control spine. Clients avoid paying twice for overlapping infrastructure, and the plant ends up with fewer vendors, fewer contracts and a clearer picture of its own operation.
